It has been confirmed that we will reopen after a two hour delay. We will follow the schedule that was previously shared and begin at 9:50am with the 3rd period exam.

WUSD Staff and Families: In consultation with our bus company, we are very concerned about earlier-than-expected icing on the roads that will make it dangerous for our buses and the commute to school. (County A is currently closed by the Duck Inn due to icing.) We will be initiating a 2-hour delay and reassessing if school can start safely. AM 4K will be canceled.

The Whitewater Unified School District presents its Band'O'Rama on Saturday, February 10. The performers will include: 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, High School Jazz Ensemble, and Middle School Jazz Ensemble. The concert will begin at 3:00pm in the WHS Main Gym, and admission is free. We hope to see you there!

This is a friendly reminder that the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will open on Sunday, December 31st regardless of what college you plan on attending. In order to prepare for that, you can start creating your FSA IDs (FAFSA login). You'll need the following information: *Full legal name *Social Security Number *Personal email address (do not use a high school email or an email that is shared with a parent/guardian -- parent/guardian will need to create their own FSA ID as part of the FAFSA process) *Contact information (your own cell phone number) *Address Please work on this BEFORE December 31st as you will not be able to submit your FAFSA the same day you create your FAFSA login. During the first portion of the school year, the WHS Choirs have been singing about and thinking about the idea of community. We are thinking about the community that is our choir, our school, our city, our state, our nation, and our world. The songs featured at our Fall Concert are songs we sing as a community or are about the communities in which we live. A part of living in a community is helping others. In order to do that, the WHS Choirs will be holding a Community Baby Shower. Donations of diapers and wipes will be accepted between now and next Wednesday, October 18th. All donations will be given to The Community Space in Whitewater. Students, WUSD staff, and community members can drop off donations at the WHS Choir room or the WHS main office. We will continue the collection at our Fall Concert on Wednesday, October 18th when we will have boxes ready for donations at the concert. The concert will be held at Whitewater High School in the auditorium at 7:00 pm. Thank you in advance for any support you can give to this project. We truly live in a special place!
