Volunteer Opportunities

Individual / Small Group Reading at a variety of grade levels -- If you enjoy one-on-one student contact, consider volunteering once a week to listen to a child read. It’s rewarding & so very beneficial to our kids!

Seasonal/Informational Bulletin Boards -- the Birthday board is changed monthly and other informational and/or picture boards are changed on a regular basis. If you have a desire to help at your convenience, please call Sara for more information.

At Home Projects -- Teachers submit "Busy Work" requests throughout the week to help prepare for classroom projects to come. If you are able to cut, trace, assemble, etc. either from home or here in our volunteer room at your convenience, we would LOVE to have your help. You can volunteer on a one time basis, once a week or whenever you find you have a free hour near school! Just give a call (472-8402) and we'll have something ready for you!

Vision and Hearing Screening - done in the middle of October

America Reads - student volunteers from UW-Whitewater come each week for a semester to engage students in literacy.

Fall Fest, Spring Carnival, OLYMPIC DAY - This is a FUN-filled day for students, staff and volunteers! If you are interested in being a part of the fun, please contact Sara Brautigam.
